Jassim Al-Muhanna is a photographer and visual storyteller whose journey began in 2006. His work spans portrait, street, documentary, black-and-white, and commercial photography, driven by a deep passion for capturing human stories, culture, and emotion.
With years of experience in the creative industry, Jassim co-founded Pixel Productions, focusing on artistic, theatrical, and print production, before establishing Photon Media House, a full-service media production studio providing comprehensive visual solutions.
His career also extended into broadcast media, where he worked as a photographer and videographer at Marina FM, contributing to the establishment and launch of its television channel.
Dedicated to preserving cultural heritage, Jassim co-founded the Al-Anaam Project, a documentary initiative aimed at safeguarding the visual memory of local events, traditions, and culture. He later founded Blask Studio, specializing in film and motion photography, and Tzar Entertainment on YouTube—creative platforms where storytelling, experimentation, and visual expression converge.
Today, Jassim is proud to be a Fujifilm Ambassador and Certified X Creator, and he currently serves as Art Director at the Media Center for Aramco and the Kuwait Gulf Oil Company in Khafji.
In a recent milestone, Jassim was appointed Photography Trainer and Head of the Photography Department at the Kuwait Scientific Club, one of Kuwait’s most established national institutions, founded in 1974. Through this role, he continues his mission of empowering new generations, refining visual awareness, and shaping photographers who understand photography as thought, responsibility, and message before it is merely a tool.
For Jassim, photography is not just about taking pictures; it is about preserving moments, emotions, and culture, transforming time into a lasting visual narrative.
